The ads
What the Data Specialists ads say
Its Meta ads started on 2026-10-09 with lines like "See What Your Company Data Is Worth" and "Closed Your Business? Its Data Could Pay". They quote "Payout: $100K-$2M+", name companies with 30+ employees or closed companies that had 50+, and link to a micro1 job-post address rather than to a Data Specialists page.5
The site itself is more careful than the ads. The $100K-$2M+ figure appears only on its closed-company page, where it is marked as not guaranteed and limited to selected companies. The operating-company page gives no dollar figure and says 30-200 employees is its core focus.6,7
The micro1 link
How Data Specialists relates to micro1
Data Specialists says that after its own form you continue to micro1's application through its referral link, and that submitting its form does not complete that application. micro1 pays referrers: its terms set a default of 7.5% of the license price, and they bar referrers from presenting themselves as micro1's agent or partner.1,8,9
Its apply page shows 100+ partner companies, $200M+ generated for partners and 100+ countries without saying whose numbers they are. Those are the figures on micro1's own partnership page. We found no micro1 page that names Data Specialists as a partner.4,10

How to check it, and what to ask
If micro1 is the program you want, you can apply to micro1 directly. Going through a referrer does not change what micro1 says it pays the company, $100K-$2M+ per package; the referral fee is micro1's cost, not yours. If you use Data Specialists, ask who operates the site and in which country, whether it is paid by micro1 and how much, and whether your answers go to anyone besides micro1.12,8
