Checking an ad
Three things to look for behind any data ad
First, a company you can look up: micro1 names one and has been covered by Forbes and TechCrunch, while Goldmined.ai names none. Second, a contract you can read before you talk: micro1 publishes one, and Goldmined.ai has no terms page at all. Third, a track record older than the ad: micro1's domain dates from 2022, while Goldmined.ai claims $10M+ paid out from a domain registered the same day its ads started.3,4,14,5,15,11,6
Fair to both
What this does not prove
A new site is not proof of bad faith, and a big company is not proof of a good deal. Meta removed some micro1 ads for not meeting its Advertising Standards. Goldmined.ai's stated terms are reasonable if they hold: names and personal details stripped before records leave, a licensed copy, nothing sold without your approval, and about 2-3 hours of your time. Ask Goldmined.ai for its legal name and a reference before sending anything.12,16
